Evidence Center

Evidence Center

The Equitable Housing “Evidence Center” seeks to address a key information gap in the market. While many governments agree in principle with the goals of our coalition’s policy work, they seek to understand the experiences of other countries and municipalities before enacting their own policies. Without in-depth examples, it is hard for leaders to spend political and fiscal capital on new ways of doing business – even if they hold great promise.

However, there is currently no platform where relevant up-to-date examples can be accessed. To address this need, the coalition created this Evidence Center as an aggregator and coordinator of real-world examples of equitable housing policies, including: access to land; green, affordable building; and finance for affordable housing.
